sculptural shapes = distruction/soldiers
Idea behind this building, relates to the idea of two opposing forces annihilating each other; or two things joining to create nothing. Her; the black falls onto the white and what is created is the emptiness inside; which becomes the lab space. Nobel said that his factories could result in this act of ar occuring, thus the building resembles a factory. The Figures out front represent soldier liek forms; and the building is supposed to be a building of distruction; and war.
